Deerness Walk Village Name Signs
| Villagers were asked for ideas for signs to depict the history, flora and fauna of Waterhouses and the Deerness Valley. A designer who lives in the village took these ideas and created three signs. | Funding was raised from Durham City Arts SRB6 and ourselves. Peter Collinson, an up and coming artist, made the black metal signs which now stand on the walkway at the entrance to Waterhouses Village. |
